In celebration of the opening of the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, a weeklong festival, "First Americans Festival," was held on the Mall. Here, the Native Hawaiian Halau O Kekuhi dance ensemble perform on a sunny hot Saturday morning. Like kilt-wearing Scots, the male dancers did not wear any underwear.
