I wanted to watch this morning's Olympic men's marathon trials, but it started at 4:35 AM here on the west coast. So I've just tuned into the news of who won - and it was overshadowed by the unbelievable death of healthy, talented, 28-year old Ryan Shay.
Tragic news. I am stunned and saddened.
