Luddite No More
Vietnam sign celebrating the lunar new year. February 2004.
I just bought a digital camera, so I can no longer be a film photo snob. Very exciting. It's my SO's early birthday present to me.
I was going to upload a few snapshots I took today with my new camera, but I'm too tired tonight to download the photo software that comes with it. So, here's one more photo of our Vietnam trip earlier this year. I'm not sure if you can tell, but in the picture, a few local Saigon police are sitting next to the sign, eyeing me suspiciously.
Today I ran 4.75 miles in 40 minutes and biked another 3 miles on one of my gym's indoor cycles. No wonder I'm beat.
Has anyone been keeping up with "Six Feet Under"? The plot's getting good: Nate thinks his dead wife Lisa may still be alive, his sister Claire may get in touch with her inner lesbian, his ex-fiancee Brenda may go domestic and have kids with her new S&M-loving beau, and his mom Ruth and her new husband, George, may invite George's shit-sending son to dinner.
I'm rubbing my hands together in glee. The show's definitely worth shelling out the clams to the cable god.

I like the pics you post on here. I would post some on my blog too, but I've always been "old school" and a little behind the times. I don't have a scanner or a digital camera yet. I still use good old-fashioned film. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't have HBO, heck, we didn't even get cable until we moved to Vegas, so I don't know anything about "Six Feet Under". Sounds...interesting - LOL! I usually just watch TCM or a handful of shows on network TV during the year. That's about it, really.
I would like to visit Vietnam someday. It must be a fascinating place.
