I got tagged ...

I got tagged from Truth Is Stranger. This is like the 2006 version of the junior-high slambook. Which I fondly remember.

Remember those?! Slambooks were the province of girls. They were spiral-lined notebooks with a handwritten question on each page, such as, 'How many children will you have?" and "Who do you not like?"

If I recall correctly, my answer to the first was something like, "Aargh! (running away screaming)." My answer to the second was: "The general public."

Ah, youth. Here are my answers, such as they are:

Four jobs you've had in your life:

College writing tutor, waitress, junior account executive for public relations firm, newspaper reporter.

Four movies you could watch over and over:
"Night On Earth," "Thelma and Louise," "Raise The Red Lantern," "A Room With a View."

Four places you've lived:
Pasadena, Calif.; Fayetteville, Ark.; Richmond, Va.; Washington, D.C.

Four TV shows you love to watch:
I watch "Medium" and "Nightline" every once in awhile, otherwise I ignore TV. However, I own the DVD's of the British TV series, "The Office," which I love.

Four places you've been on vacation:
Saigon, Kuaui, Paris, Beijing

Four websites you visit daily:
Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Salon, Yahoo

Four of your favorite foods:
Sushi, oysters on the half shell, Korean BBQ beef and just about anything spicy, burgers and fries from In-N-Out, a SoCal institution.

Four places you'd rather be:
Surfing off the Kuaui coast; eating breakfast at Stonyridge's in Tahoe; running in the San Gabriel Mountains; playing on my computer at home

Four albums you can't live without:
My Aim Is True - Elvis Costello, Skylarking - XTC, Don't Get Weird on Me, Babe - LLoyd Cole, Three Feet High & Rising - De la Soul

Four vehicles I've owned:
'70 VW Fastback (well, it was really my parents', but I considered it mine), '85 Honda Prelude (my dad gave it to me after crashing it), '97 Honda Civic (the first car I bought), '04 Acura TL

Now I'm tagging Jeanne, David, Jon, and Susan.
