Famous Last Words?
My right ankle and foot are feeling better. Much better. I stopped wrapping my ankle on Monday. And on Tuesday, with tons of energy to burn, I did 20 minutes on an elliptical machine. It turned out OK.
Those are famous last words. Maybe start w/ a(I hate to say the words) slow jog for a short time & see how you feel? But knowing that you'll want to go faster will probably kill ya. I would DEFINITELY ease back into though.
Did you ever get an official diagnoses? If not I'd give it some more rest. Start with brisk walking, too. Better to back off now than be benched again and again, right?
It's only been one week. I'd give it a few more days unless you, you know, jog a little and it feels okay. If that's okay, then a short 10 miler should be no problem. JK!!
